hello sugar bytes team

i have a question

i know easy how to use effectrix as a midi controlled effect
and can use it for any track to insert , i just use a bus to do that.
sounds great

but now i don't know how to do this when i want to choose the stereo 1-2 output
and have my effectrix on every track to sound in the same time
there is no bus on that channel
so how would i do this now ?

hope to hear from you soon
thanks

logic 9.1.1
macbook 2.4
osx 10.6.6

If you want 1 Effectrix to affect many tracks create a bus.
Send all tracks to the bus. Take the bus as input for Effectrix.

If you want many Effectrix on many tracks to start the same time then you have to do some special midi routing in the environment.

i am not sure if you did understand the question ...
ofcourse i can spend time to route every channel to a effectrix bus ,
but lets say i have a song with more than 50 track channels and they all have their busses , etc ,
and on top of that i have to do a new routing for all these tracks again ? 50 X TIMES ?
not so easy ...
i was wondering if there was an easy way to just route it to 1 master channel
just 1 track and ready . not 50 busses routing editing work for a while and complicated stuff

the problem is that the logic arrangement master output does not allow to route a bus as you can see ..

so i am forced to use effectrix on the master to work with a workflow to put over 50 busses for all tracks and edit them by one by one ??
sounds like an atari 1984 workflow :-))
there should be an easy 2011-way to connect effectrix on the masteroutput ..

or not ?

am i my time ahead ? maybe in far future ?

hope to hear from you , thanks :-)

Well this is mainly a Logic issue. In many other hosts there is no sidechain and the midi is directly send to ANY insert fx. Anyway in Logic the only way is to use a pseudo Master bus for this.
If you start your project, make sure not to use the master directly. Always use a dedicated bus for all tracks. Then you have later the freedom to use that mastersignal as sidechain input.
Sorry but i don't know (and i don't think there is) a better solution for Logic.

hey thanks for fast reply ,
i think this is the right answer , i thought of it myself but wanted to check if you had another option ..
so this is what i should do in any case , and yes it is more logic issue...sorry for that .

THANKS and love your plugin!!!

by the way .. is there chance you going to update the effectrix with extra added filtertypes in future ?? :-)))
for example band reject , or is that impossible and absolute difficult to organize ?
the filter section would be greatly improved in this way .
i try to think with you to make the effectrix even better :-)
