I've always wanted to try to get sounds similar to the synths in the Crystal method song "Trip like I do":

I've always wondered what VSTs would be best for this kind of sound and I think Sylenth1 would be up there with the best chances of getting near it. Lennard, I've seen you be able to replicate sounds almost exactly before using sylenth1, so I'm just curious how close you'd be able to come to the synth sounds in this song, mainly the synth sound right at the start of the track.

Anyone else want to take a crack at it? (any other synths you think would be better?) Rob Papen Blue is another one that can get close sometimes.

cheers :)

I have not much time for trying that, but I think Sylenth has chance to get that sounds. It has "information" to work with in creating that resonant low note sound apregio at the begining.
That servo-motor sound could be tough. I did really similar one in Zebra while ago and it needed PWM. Hard to emulate with Sylenth. But rest should be easy and with great sounding result.
