Struggling to load LASS onto Receptor 2+

Hi everyone,
I really hope somebody can help with this.
I have AudioBro's LASS and want to load onto my new Receptor 2+.
I have copied the samples from my external drive to the Receptor drive, however, I cannot run an installer on the Receptor as the Receptor remote control software is not recognizing my Receptor and simply stays in the "Scanning for Receptors" state. I am using a crossover Cat5 and in fact I can mount the Receptor to my MacBook Pro via finder just fine...

I have added the LASS library in Kontakt 4 on the Receptor but it doesn't give me an Activate option so I can use the second licence of 2 available licences for LASS.

I have a show tomorrow for which I need to have this thing loaded and ready and so anybody who can offer me advice would be greatly appreciated.

Lee, you should download the latest version of Receptor Tools here: http://www.museresearch.com/updates.php This fix (and another, using "Chicken of the VNC" instead of Receptor Remote) was discussed in another thread a little while back; see http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=302567.

Thank you so much Batgab! You just solved my remote control problem that I have been struggling with all day!

The only issue I now have is that I have added my LASS library to the Kontakt 4 in Receptor but when I go to activate it, the LASS does not show up in the NI Service center list???
Can you shed any light on this for me?

FYI: there is a problem using Kontakt 4's "add a library" feature on the current Receptor OS. This can be easily fixed by using Kontakt 3.5 or Kontakt 3 Player. If you do not have access to the free Kontakt 3 player then contact Muse Research support on the Plugorama help desk.

Lee, glad to help. I just wish I would've suggested you call Muse support today to see if they could have gotten you up and running in time to meet your deadline!
