Now maybe I need an iPad.
Most people wouldn't know good music if it bit them in the ass. βFZ

Looks useful but I'd still prefer a single master XY/Recordable vector pad to rule them all

Naughty Panther says:
So if I understand this correctly, it sounds as if it can connect to your DAW via hardware instead of crappy, laggy WiFi? If so, then I'm glad I never bought the Korg Chaos Pad...Note that SimpleMidiPad makes no sound of its own. It requires either a CoreMidi-compatible USB MIDI adaptor (via the Camera Connection Kit) or an OS X computer running the Network MIDI interface for WiFi usage.

If Apple gives it the thumbs up this should be available shortly in the app store:

Have you tried Control? It's a free app that has several interfaces (game of life, x/y pads, tilt control, monome emu, etc) that can send MIDI or OSC messages. It has a multitouch x/y pad that can track several fingers at once each with it's own control point sending out x and y values. So you have a bunch of x/y pads (up to 11, I think) sharing the same space.
It's terribly fun.

NO, please. No U-He synths for those kiddie toys. It only steals development time, better used for other projects. Why spending month of time to sell this stuff for $1,50?petedako wrote:The theremin, the touch surface controller on the Voyager and now Animoog are blowing me awayβ i would love to see a u-he iPAD synth (!) and/or further alternatives to standard piano-keyboard controllers..
