Sylenth1--How do I use my midi controller to select programs from the sound bank?

I'm using Sylenth1, an M-Audio Oxygen 25 midi controller, and Logic Pro. According to both the Sylenth1 and M-Audio manual, I should press ADVANCED, then PROG, then type a number 1 - 128, then hit ENTER, and that should select a program from the sound bank. No dice--nothing happens (in Sylenth1). I know the midi controller works because I've programed the knobs and slider successfully, the track and transpose buttons work, the mute button works, and the wheels work. Any ideas?

..first of all, i dont know logic. So this is just an idea.
I use sylent1 in Live. And there You can only change program if there is a Midi clip PRESENT on the track, the midi clip can be emty, but it has to be there.

Thats not true, you must be doing something wrong or its a logic/mac thing. I just did it with my Axiom with no clip on the track. Maybe the control setup in preferences. Check out this thread, maybe it will help.I use sylent1 in Live. And there You can only change program if there is a Midi clip PRESENT on the track, the midi clip can be emty, but it has to be there.
