Hi Everyone,

I've been able to install the Bob Moog Tribute Library on Omnisphere on Receptor.

The bundle from spectrasonics is a zip file. Once you unzip it, you need to manually place the contents into your existing steam folder (there was a Sound source folder and a patches db. It used something like 2.3g).

Works on both Omnisphere 1.2.0 (the one supported on receptor), and 1.5

Enjoy,

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for posting this. I wondered if you could help me on getting this library to actually install? I've copied the library and the patches file over to the correct locations, but I'm not seeing it in Omnisphere. Do I need to install anything? If so, what and where?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi Martin,

I already replied via PM, but it's useful to reply publicly as well.

I simply copied over the files from the installers STEAM folder into their correct positions on your receptor's STEAM folder.

From what I recall, I didn't do anything else for the Lib to appear in my Omnisphere interface.

So - some possible things to check:

1.) Make sure you are using the latest (receptorized) omnisphere install and soundlibraries.

My Omnisphere says:
Omnisphere 1.5.5e 32bit
SoundSources version 1.0.2
Patches version 1.2.0

In your Patch Browser, 'Moog Tribute Library' should appear in the 'Directory' pulldown on the Top-Left of the interface.

Also (This was a big Gotcha for me):

I had a previous version of Omnisphere installed on my Receptor. When I updated it with a newer version, it had reinstalled my STEAM folder to a new location (so I actually had 2 STEAM folders). If this is the case for you, you may be putting your library updates in the wrong STEAM destination. Check your Receptor HD carefully to make sure you don't have multiple STEAM folders.

Hope this helps, Best,
Kevin L

Yes, it's $100. You can download it from Spectrasonics.
