Does its nessesary a midi piano???

Hi I dont have a lot of time producing electronic music but I have a question that might change my way of making music. Does it is really nesesary to have a MIDI Piano?? I am quiestioning this beause Im tired of making music without one, so I think if a have one it is much easier to create better melodies.
tell me please how did you where before and afer getting a MIDI Piano, DOES IT CHANGE YOUR MUSIC?

I think you're asking about a midi controller keyboard aren't you....it's not necessary to have one but it would be to your benefit to buy one.
