Hi
Still learning this thing. Still love it but still confused about some stuff.
So - I make a basic click track using M Drummer. Record my parts of music. Come back to make the click track a real drum part.
I am looping 4 bars at a time as that is all I can get on my screen in M Drummer. How do I make M Drummer start at the start of the loop that I am trying to craft a part for? It always starts at Measure 3 in a 4 Measure part.
Thanks

Hi,
I'm not really if I understand this. Anyway MDrummer is always in sync with the host and you should use a rhythm with the same signature as your host has. Then you just use the MIDI commands, usually at the first quarter of a bar, or using the song sequencer in MDrummer. I recommend checking the video tutorials, though they are a little outdated and shall be replaced in the nearest future.

Let me try to explain better.
Lets assume I make a 4 bar drum part. But this bar has a fill at the end to go to the next section of a song.
I hit play on the host DAW (Sonar) and M-Drummer sometimes starts at bar 3 instead of bar 1. I can move the marker back to bar 1 but again it starts playing at bar 3.
Obviously that throws off how the fill fits into the song.
I can go to a two measure thing and make it work but that misses the buildup that bars 1 and 2 might be doing before hitting the fill at bar 3 and 4.
Does that explain it better?
Thanks

Hmmm, I'm kind of lost here, could you send me a small project in Sonar so I can see what's going on?
