At last i had the time to hook up my hardwaresynths and other midi stuff.
I have a midibox 4x4 midi interface and it works like a charm.
The thing is that i want to be able to choose witch midichannel each rack in Mulab is adressing.
What i do now is that i adress different ports on the interface and that works well but i only have 4 outs and i want to use all my other stuff.
So what i have to do is Midi in => thru => Midi in => thru and so on to be able to connect all my stuff.
All synths have to be on different midichannels.
Well, that is no problem but how do i control them with mulab?
How do i do this?
I have been looking around in Docs and in the forum and i dont find a obvious way to do this.
Please help me.
Regards
Different midichannels

Track/part context menu -> "Choose MIDI Channel".
So practically: Right-click a track or part -> "Choose MIDI Channel".
If you use this context function very often, you can choose to setup a shortcut to it via main EDIT menu -> Preferences -> Edit Shortcuts.
Hope this helps

WTF!!
I have been looking around and didnt find a d*mn thing.
Scrolling down menus and looking in the docs and it is right in front of me.
I feel ashamed and in a different country in a different time i would have thrown my self on my own sword.
Sorry.

Hey no problem, that happens to all of us from time to time.
Sorry it's maybe very hidden into context menus.
Atoh, if every track would have an explicit midi channel box, that would cause extra GUI clutter for something many users don't use/need. It all depends on your setup of course. Enjoy making music
