Zebra currently doesn't allow for a single MIDI CC value to module multiple targets. For example, you can't have MIDI CC #2 (breath) modulate both VCF1: Cutoff and VCF2: Cutoff. The way around that is to use the XY macros and modulate one axis with CC#2 and then set both cutoffs as tagets of that axis. There's no way I know of to have two or more axes to be modulated by a single CC source directly within Zebra. There are ways around it in your DAW though, I use Reaper and there are several Jesusonic plugins that take one CC source and generate 2+ sources from the data stream.

This only enables Modulation to control one axis at a time and disables the other axis' midi-learn assignment. How do you assign a separate midi controller for each axis? Example Y = modulation, X= channel pressure. In other words how do you make the yellow dot travel diagonally?Howard wrote:Right-click on the individual X and Y knobs.

It can be difficult to midi learn if you are using the xy controller to make the assignments. The xy controller is constanly sending at least two CCs and zebra has no way to distinguish which has priority. The xy devices I've used typically have other assignable buttons and knobs, so what I do is setup another pair of controls to send the same CC on the same channel as the x and y axis. This way, I can use a knob or button to make the assignment. My Kaoss pad for example can send many CCs at once, so it's much more convenient for me to midi learn from controls that only send out a single CC.swank wrote:This only enables Modulation to control one axis at a time and disables the other axis' midi-learn assignment. Hope that makes some sense.
