New Volume Mod in 2.51?

In 2.51 is there an additional volume modulation per lane compared to 2.5?
It's at the bottom of the the main mixer. (sorry if I missed the discussion)

I use the Unempty Dark Horse skin, and it looks different compared to the original skin:
