hi everyone i thought i would give this one last shot before giving up. I have posted before with no replies here goes.
I use ableton live and have the zebra synth plugin. Everything else works fine but when i try to apply pitch bend it is staggered so you can hear each note being triggered as it rises or falls much like if you had a very fast arpeggiator. I have also used the pitch bend on my other soft synth and the all work fine and sound very smooth.
It is more noticable if you try this with the initial or default patch.
Only thing i can think is there must be a setting i am missing in zebra. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I would suggest trying it in another DAW first.
Reaper demo is good.
www.reaper.fm/
At least then you can rule out the daw, or not.

Random guess: could it be a weird MIDI-learn on the master pitchbend controls? The ones that define the range of pitchbending under 'voice mode' and 'voices' in the bottom left of the UI.
I was able to get the zippery pitchbend with a combo of modwheel and pitchbend here, and I would guess a joystick rather than 2-wheels controller or some other mapping could end up like this.
(It's a little strange to MIDI-map pitchbend range, pitchbend doesn't need to be explicitly mapped into that ... just saying this to eliminate all possible confusion)

Just so you guys know i dont have a midi controller. This pitch bend is being applied when you clip on the envelope button in ableton. Basically its automated.

I automate pitchbend envelope in ableton. Heres step by step what i do
1 Open Midi Track and add a long note
2 Open Zebra2 onto this track leave the default init preset
3 Go into abletons Clip view at bottom and click 'E' to the left (envelope)
4 This opens the envelope editor where i click on pitch bend then add breakpoints and position them to suit. They go from value 8191 to -8192
As i mentioned this does bend the pitch up or down but it is not smooth as when using other vsts are as you would here playing a hardware synth
