Intermittent bad loads of Ivory 2 running on Receptor 2+ PRO

I am seeing an intermittent problem when loading Ivory 2 on a Receptor 2+ PRO
machine. Sometimes when I load a Single Patch that I created that has my Ivory 2 parameters just the way I like them a problem occurs when I play. About 2/3 of the notes do not sound when run up and down a scale playing with a medium 'velocity', if I play soft none of the notes sound (and if I play hard they all sound). When I delete Ivory 2 from the Receptor channel it's on and then reload the Single patch mentioned above Ivory 2 plays beautifully.

Just to make sure it wasn't the controller I was using I swapped controllers (unplugged the MIDI cable from my keyboard controller, powered up another controller and then MIDI'd it to Receptor) and the problem was still there.

thoughts anyone ?

Thanks !

Hi Dan,

Just curious - are you using Uniwire (or is this problem occurring without networked audio)? I've seen issues with Uniwire where the host (DAW) could not sync-up to the receptor - In this case, if you reset the DAW audio engine (ie. re-enable record on the DAW channel) you would hear some buffered audio play (sounds like all notes hit at once).

Other than this, it doesn't sound like an installation issue if you reload a single and it plays fine.

Hope this helps,

Kevin -

Thanks for the response. I found a similar issue in the Knowledgebase on the Muse Research site where they said to enable ZLoad -- I did this and it fixed the problem (what a relief !).
