I would really love to see FM capabilities in sylent and more modulation.
my overall wishlist is as follows.
2 more LFO's
2 more envelopes - tempo syncable
FM synthesis between oscillators or maybe a dedicated FM operator for each oscillator.
and more wave shapes for the LFO's.
sylenths sound is great but I like to do some heavy modulation stuff and could really use more LFO power and the ability to tempo sync the envelopes would be nice.
thanks.

Piotr,
I enjoyed your demo bank posted on vengeance but a little bit expensive for 64 sounds. It is quality no doubt but I guess you have market value.
Cheers

I would not wait for such a update. I remember that nothing in this direction is planned. The only thing you can expect: the long released Beta will be a stable release.

I just bought a new virtual synthesizer instruments. That's called Synthmaster 2.5. It has FM synthesize as good as NI FM 7. I'm really impressed. It has very flexible FX routing and high quality effects. Also If you buy once, you get huge preset bank. By the way, they announced that expansion bank will be ready for a few months.
Instead of waiting hopelessly for those features to be implemented you can check out other synths that has them. Like I do.
I suggest you to try it.

I dont think this synth is designed for lots of modulation. I hope lennard works on a new synth instead.

Sylenth1 is a workhorse and is good at what it does. I would personaly like to see more sources and targets for the envelopes and modulators which could easily be added and would not change the basic workings of the synth. But thats about it, anything else would probably be better implimented from a new synth design.
And the beta needs to be finalised so that everybody is back on the same version and unify the user base again because of the change in the preset format.
Try Dune for that advanced Sylenth style synth or maybe the new release of Z3ta+ thats coming out. Synthmaster is ok and has a lot of potential but is still changing and developing. I am impressed with it but waiting to see where it ends up, personaly Zebra 2 would be my other choice.
Finalise the beta first.

Of course, they have to release final version. It's in Release Candidate. I bought it because I didn't have much more time. I had to choose one of them and I bought it.

You'll see it pretty soon! Just finished the new FX routing changes, now off to finishing up on Compressor effect + some fixes and we're done!GeoSuPhat wrote:Synthmaster is ok and has a lot of potential but is still changing and developing. Yes, but people are interested more for the Virus sound, coming closer with Sylenth. Sylenth has this "rough" sound while Dune sounds rounder, more like analog hardware.GeoSuPhat wrote:Try Dune for that advanced Sylenth style synth or maybe the new release of Z3ta+ thats coming out.
Z3ta yes... Tomorrow the version 2 should be released. Zeta was always a good horse in the stallion.
Only if someone is interested for Virus/Sylenth. I programmed a trance pad (typical used by many A&B, Anjunbeat,TATW guys) on the Virus XL and Sylenth. IMO they are very close:

I am wondering about the whole long beta time period as well. Sylenth is such a wonderful synth, I hope it never ever goes away. Great synth, so glad I bought it.
