Dear all,

Since I didn't have any real time multi effect plug working with Cubase 6 before so I want to make sure that I know every single step from setup to mess up. :)

All I want is to import a Vocal rap loop into an Audio Track and then insert effect (of course insert Turnado). If I have an external midi controller with knobs, how can I:

1) turn the knobs to mess around the rap loop? I know Turnado accept CC learn, but the Loop is in a Audio track not Midi Track. How to achieve it?

2) Suppose I can make the knob movement by using an ext. Midi controller. How can I record the original loop with the effect added in real time?

Regards!

You may want to use Turnado as a send effect (or an insert) and use a MIDI track to control it.
You then feed your original loop into Turnado.
And to record the changes, well, simply record yourself making the changes. Your performance will be recorded on the MIDI track as automation/CC changes.
I don't use Cubase but I'm sure this woul work in any host.
I hope this helps.

Create a midi track and assign it to Turnado as you would do with any vst synth. That way you can midi-control your Turnado which run as insert effect on an audio track.

Activate automation writing on the audio track to record your knob movements.
Then its easy to edit the automation curves afterwards, for absolute perfection.
