Hello,
I added Uhbik-A to a project and saw that after leaving the project in playback for a couple minutes, everything became suddenly crackles fest. After checking several times I figured that the track with the added Uhbik-A was taking 49.5% total CPU on my quad core system (Q9550) when crackles triggered in!
I then added the DigitalFishPhones normalize plugin before Uhbik-A and the problem was solved. So, it seems Uhbik-A has denormal problems (stock "Boom box" preset).
Is it something known?
Win7x64, REAPER 4 x86, Uhbik 32 bits.
Hope it helps,
Mario

I'm having the same problem with Uhbik-Q, I use it on a send track and after 1-2 seconds of "near silence" I get crackles, even distorting the reverb tail of sampled percussions.
Thanks for the tip on the normalize plugin. When I put that one in the slot before on the same bus the crackles goes away.
No buffer underruns on the audio interface or anything like that..
Any ideas what could cause this? Let me know if you need more details.

I forgot to say the crackles happens to me when the plugin is sent (apparently) absolute silence.
All of this definitely seem to indicate denormal issues.
