Hi there
It seems that I have problems opening an important project (from my upcoming album).
I recently moved and didn't took my computer with me, just the projects and plugins install kits. after installing the latest Mu.Lab I can't open this particular project.
In the beginning I thought it's because of missing plugins but I tried to open other projects and all opened even if missing plugins or audio files.
I installed some of the missing plugins and I constantly have this "Reading session data failed. Retry in S.O.S. mode?". However, it can't open in S.O.S. mode, it just keep opening this message if I click "yes".
Is there any chance to retrieve the data ? even if just MIDI or project data without any instruments or effects settings would be fine.

Sorry for the late reply
I was busy with my new job, taking a lot of my time but bringing more music in my life
I figured out that if I just remove all plugins from Mu.Lab database, open project, ignore all missing VSTs, I can open the project.
I kind of know all the instruments used and all the logic behind using effects, so I can remake all things one by one.
so... problem solved for now. Thanks Jo for your fast help proposal
I look forward to the upcoming M4.

Probably the piano, but I don't remember which one I used: GVS Piano or Linux Sampler.

Then you can delete these vsts from the database and load the session, then you should have recovered everything except the problematic vst.
Eventually backup your VstPlugins.Xml so you can relatively easily switch between vst setups.
