Keyboard player here that wants to check out the amazing looking Mdrummer Small vst plugin for Cubase. I have a Win7 PC running IE9 and when I tried to download I got a warning about it not being the "common download type" and a possible threat to the computer. I did check and found a download warning post from 2009 but it was not the same issue. I am guessing this might be a common thing with the download helper app but I wanted to ask to make sure.
Very cool forum with lots of thoughtful advise on everything from set-up to theory

Ok I guess I was being thick. I downloaded the "Mirror1" zip file and installed no problem. At least with the stand-alone version. Not showing up as a VST plugin for CuBase 5 though. Do I have to copy any files or folders to the CuBase "Other" folder?

Sorry for the delay.
1) Don't worry about the "possible threat". Some browsers and antiviruses show it just to bother you and show that they are doing something
.
2) With the VST plugin - you need to install the plugins into a correct VST plugins folder your host knows. Also you need to use 32-bit plugins with 32-bit host and vice versa.
