Hello, I have a Rec Pro..All Ive ever used it for is to run Ivory on a few gigs.
Works great, but now I need to add a rhodes. I have on my G5, NI which I needed to run Scarbee. I would love to load this into my Rec, but have no idea whatsoever how to proceed. I really dont even know how to connect the Rec to the Mac. I know I will have to drag folders over, but 1st things 1st. Can anyone tell me the procedure or if this is even possible?

Hi ADino,
Yes it is possible. If you have Komplete 6/7 (with the Scarbee libraries) you can load this onto Receptor using the DirectInstall method (see this). If you submit a ticket on plugorama, one of the muse techs can help with instructions. It's not too hard to do, but is aa fairly lengthy install. May not be possible on all Receptors either (maybe only on Rec 2 series). Check with Muse Techs to be sure.
BTW, Scarbee libs run very smoothly on Receptor - sound great. As an alternative approach, maybe consider (AAS) Lounge Lizard.

Depending on when you purchased your Receptor, Komplete 7 or Komplete 7 may already be installed, you just need to register the products. Just look for Items like Kontakt, or Absynth in the plugin list.
If not, you'll need to open a support ticket on our help desk to get access to the Install information for these libraries.

Hey thank you for the info, I will check for the NI stuff, I purchased my RecPro, end of 06 Im pretty sure, that may be b4 Muse offered the Kontakt stuff. Why would NI be ABSYNTH if you dont mind me asking? At any rate, Im going to give this a shot, again, thx.

If I recall, I ran the Scarbee stuff on my rev C Receptor using Kontakt 2.2 - prior to my upgrade to Receptor 2. I still sometimes run it in Kontakt 2.2 even though I now have Kontakt 4. Anyway, I believe there used to be install instructions for installing Scarbee on Receptor (Kontakt 2) on this forum. That's how I originally did it. It ran - and runs - great on Receptor.
