does this mean the melda plugins don't work well at 44.1khz? or just to do the recommended thing?Always record in at least 96 kHz and 24 bits. Because of advances in technology, the majority of audio interfaces can now provide this level of quality at relatively low cost. If yours does not, get one that does. Any recordings made at lower resolutions can be easily distorted, and will lack the full frequency range, especially at the higher end, needed for quality results.
I'm fairly comfortable working at 44.1 and not doubling the bandwidth from my hard drive to go to a higher resolution.
Also wouldn't 88.2 be better if we were downsampling to 44.1 at the end of the day because the math is cleaner?
