AU and VST only for Snow Leopard?

Hi,

I've two macs, one with Snow Leopard and the other with Leopard. When I generate an AU I can load it in Logic Snow Leopard and not in Logic Leopard. Is this correct or is it an error of the exporting / uploading / whatever?
