AD80--Hi, just in case you never figured out how to load the AOS bank (and for others curious)...

1. Make sure the AOS folder is in with the EVE folder (along with the EVE Data folder, etc)

2. Right click the orange EVE banner

3. Click "Load Factory", click "Yes"

4. On the "Reload from User-Default bank?"--if you click "No" that will load the original presets, if you click "Yes" that will load the AOS stuff.

At least, that's how it works on mine.

Savior, that's correct. BUT, for that to work, you must first load the FXB bank provided with the A0S install, and select DEFAULT from EVE Menu.

I know, sounds complicated. But is simple.

1) Load EVE in your Host.
2) Load the A0S FXB Bank. Most hosts have an option to load FXB banks, you have to figure out how yours does, or just ask here to wich host you want to install the A0S FXB bank.
3) Click on EVE logo, click on DEFAULT. This will make the A0S bank the DEFAULT bank to load when you load EVE.

Now, everytime you want the ORIGINAL EVE bank, do as told above.

1) Load EVE
2) Click on EVE logo, click on LoadFactory.
3) Click YES
4) Click NO

That's it. Hope that helps.

Thanks William. I think I remember now doing that the first time around in my host (Tracktion, which is dead simple for that sort of thing).

Anyway, it works fine for me--but of course, when you release a third sound set I'll be all messed up again!

i'm happy with eve too, but i got problems with the aos bank loading i use orion plat.
if i try to load the fxb file i got ERror loading Dashsnd file! Code 1-file C:\Programs\Orion Plat
Vst Instruments\eve\eve data\aos\delta... n so on

That means you installed A0S in a different place rather the EVE location. Do you remember where exactly was EVE installed? Did you removed any file from the A0S directories? Let me know, so I can help you more.

i installed the aos file into the eve location, i don't removed any file from the aos directories.
The Eve folder contains the subfolders EVE, EVEdata and Manual.
The EVE subfolder contains another two folders called aos with the fxb files, and a second evedata folder with another aos file contains the dashsnd files.
In the Main EVE folder the evedata folder contains the folders epianos, ensembles, organs and waveforms.

I think I found the problem. The A0S Dir that has the DASHsnd files, move to the EVE DATA directory, it will work after that.

Hi William. Well I've finally gotten around to buying the KVR bundle

I've just installed EVE and the A0S files. I've read a post on here about the location of files but I'm still confused I'm afraid. Sorry to bother you but some help's needed, lol.

Error message in Tracktion:

Eve root directory:

Eve\Eve Data directory:

Eve\Eve Data\Eve directory:

Eve\Eve Data\Eve\Eve Data directory:

Eve\Eve Data\A0S directory:

If you get time could you please let me know where I've gone wrong?
