Plugin idea: Dynamic Noise adding (if it doesn't exist already?)

Based on some recent discussions around adding noise to cold digital tracks, I wonder if there was a plugin that adds noise based on the source input level material, like an envelope follower? For quite input levels noise is added quite too, for louder input levels the noise increases. It could be nice in mmelda's typical multiband interface to insert noise only for specific frequencies.
Instead of noise, maybe use your own custom sample like a 50hz humming to emulate bad cabeling.

If you want to go complicated you could listen to a frequency range but generate noise to another frequency range (e.g. Use the input of the low end of a kickdrum to create noise in in the higher frequency range), like an internal side chain.

There was a plugin many years ago called mb envelope (or something) that did exactly this but the inbuilt envelope follower was very unresponsive, it gave short instruments like hihats too much of a tail.

I know similar results could be achieved by routing in your DAW, except the envelope follower part.

Just an idea..

TP Sonitex does this, and then some.

Well, for the hum, you can use MOscillator and use a modulator in follower mode to control the amount of the hum. There will be also a MNoiseGenerator plugin in next version, so you will be able to do this as well ;).

Btw. the 50Hz hum with follower is used for subbass reinforcement for example, not just as some "sound destruction" :).

Nice work, MeldaProduction! Looking forward to the noise plugin to try it out ;)

For subbass manipulation I use an EQ with a high Q which self oscillates around a given frequency. Will give MOscillator a good run :)

I have another (maybe silly) question.: I own both MMasteringBundle and MCreativeBundle. Instead of downloading and installing each seperate installer, can I download and install MTotalBundle instead and activate it with my current licenses??

Ok ;) :

1) MOscillator will actually generate the subbass. It's used when for example a bass drum isn't "bass enough", so there is no actual content around 50Hz, or is just too weak.

2) Yes, you can install MTotalBundle and activate what you have ;).
