Week two of getting my Receptor together.My application is to use an Akai 4000s Wind Controller/windsynth to control sounds and layers etc. I am already running the Trumpet and sax Brothers from Sample Modeling and was trying to fill out some of the other woodwind sounds from other software vsti's but it seems like the vendors with the really high quality sounds are not supported or out of my budget range so far. Is anyone out there using a receptor with the EWI and if so are there any good libraries of other wind instruments that will work? Wallander and Garritan use incompatible engines and won't load and I have a mac so i can't extract the windows .dll files to see if I can get them to install. Any thoughts? I am off to a great start but for now I will route my other modules into a channel of the mixer section and set up some more snapshots to solo those sounds.
