This will probably sound a bit newb, but I need to know if once I've purchased Sylenth to use on my windows laptop, can I also then download the mac version to use on my imac using the same licence? Or would I have to buy a second 'mac' licence?

Yes, you can. You don't have to buy a second license. The idea is that you own a license that you can use on your computers.
