KONTAKT installation problems on my receptor....

PLEASE HELP ME .

I bought the Muse receptor 2 four week ago and i must work with it , and at this moment it's a nightmare .

I have License for Kontakt 4 and I receive last week an Kontakt 5 upgrade . But I want to activate the Kontakt 5 preinstalled in the muse and it doesn't work because my serial is for an Upgrade and not a full kontakt 5.

I tried to install a V3 or V4 but nothing appears in the receptor service center to upgrade it with my Kontakt 5 serial upgrade .

We also tried to install my official Kontakt 4 but again nothing appears in the service center to activate it .

Please how can I do to use my full Kontakt 4 or my new upgrade 5.

I also try to install a kontakt 3 demo to upgrade it to 5 but nothing in the service center .

i only see the Kontakt player 3 pre-installed.

MUSE said to me the better way is to get the installer for Kontakt 4 player from NI, install and upgrade; but NI said they discontinued player4 , because they are now at version 5... I send an other mail to NI to explain very clearly in details the situation, but they said " NI does not provide first level support for Muse Receptor systems. so ask MUSE…" and MUSE said "there is truly nothing we can do, ask NI for player4"

Someone have this problem ? have a solution ? where can I find a win-PLAYER4 installer ? i misunderstood something ?

Hi Didier,

I just talked with the support staff about your situation, we'll be rethinking the strategy for resolving this.

To put it simply, the upgrade serial number should work as long as there is a serial number for a pervious Kontakt version in your NI account- it should have nothing to do with whats installed on Receptor. People have used those upgrade serial numbers in the past on Receptor without trouble. while there is always the potential for these things to break on Receptor, I think it'd be smart to do a sanity check and try it on another system.

Install and register Kontakt 5 on your home windows or apple computer. If it doesn't work there, you'll have justifiable evidence that native instruments needs to fix the problem. If it does work on your home computer the support staff here at Muse Research will continue to help you resolve it.

Well I have racked my Receptor with a multi set up of many Kontakt channels and FM8 running controlling with an Akai EWI 4000s. I am finding the amount of continuous midi data being sent is overpowering the processor and it clips a little if I try to run too many voices at once. Overall sound quality is OK but it is looking like sometime in the future I will have to upgrade to a pro or pro max. For now I will have to work around these issues. I don't want to lower reaolution or increase samples anymore because I'm right on the edge of satisfactory sound quality. It still beats running a laptop in terms of set-up sound and control.
