Could be an interesting challenge... I don't have any real CC monitoring tools so it would be a nice addition.

i'd like something similar to the volume control of a common tv-screen, it's particularly useful if you use encoders (midi) without any light feedbackinsertpizhere wrote:Could be an interesting challenge... I don't have any real CC monitoring tools so it would be a nice addition.

oh, that's a very useful plugin !
some suggestions:
the possibility to custom the visual ( size, color, displacement, and maybe an always visible option)this can be useful il you use more than one instance of midiDisplay.
thanks ( again and again ...) for sharing this!
best,
damien

Of course I'll add a way to change the color, size, and position... first I just wanted to see if it would work. Glad you find it useful.

great!!!!!!
thank you very much piz!
a little suggestion: the fade in effect has some problems.. fade in and fade out effects can be removed, in my opinion.

the possibility to add a text label for each cc
so, for example, if i tweak a pot on my controller i can se the bar "volume mix" - value on the screen

customizable names for CCs is planned, just need to find time to do it...
i just uploaded a new version (1.1.0).
- added option to display the last note received
- removed fades
- settings should save with project

another little request:
an option to have no delay when a note is visualized, so when note is on it is visualized and when note off message is recieved the mididisplay square immediately disappears
(i use note messages to make leds on my controllers blink, just to have a visual advise, i'd like to have the same behaviour of a led on mididisplay)
