Can't register T3

Need to get a few songs from some old sessions. Re-installed T3 but when I try to register it the web server is gone. When I went to the Mackie T3 web site, I can't even find anywhere to sign in to my account anymore. Their "Register Product" link isn't working either. Anybody know a workaround or am I SOL?

TIA

my.mackie.com is also timing-out on my end and it looks like we're not alone.

The final nail?

Yep, just checked the Mackie forums. Looks like a lot of pissed T3 users. I knew this was going to happen 2 years ago. Damn I hate being right sometimes!

Wonder if there is a session converter program that reads .trc files so I can at least salvage the Traction sessions and put them in Cubase.

Hm...the product page is still up:

...but it hangs on registration of any prduct. I hope that this is just a snafu, because I would like to play with Tracktion again someday too.

Well, here we go with a prime example of how copy protection only screws the honest people. Sigh. i wonder if this will have any effect on other developers... NI have stated that if they ever go out of business, there will be permanent unlocks made available to their customers, but i'll believe it when it happens (no, i'm not hoping they go out of business, just feeling that words are nothing compared to actions).

i'm glad now that i never upgraded to T3, and that i have no projects in T2 (mostly plug-in testing done there, but the rack is such a cool feature!!).

Yep, but if you look closely, there isn't even a link to sign in to your account any more!

my.mackie.com is dead also!

You can add this link to the list as well. Doesn't look good!

Looks like it's been down about a week, now.
Fortunately, my copies of Tracktion are up and running, so it doesn't affect me, yet. But I feel for you guys. This is unacceptable, holiday or not, it's been down for a solid week.

The sad part is, Mackie isn't even acknowledging the concerns. Complete abandonment!

Man, talk about cutting your own throat. So much for purchasing any more Mackie (Loud technology) products from here out!

I had the same problem, if you download the tracktion key on a different computer...I used a school PC with Windows XP, and emailed it to myself. It worked. I changed the ID# to my new Windows 7 PC on my Mackie account first.

btw, Mackie acknowledged me after a month or two with an automated reply email.

Cool. We thought it was dead, but it turns out someone had mistakenly pulled the plug on the heart monitor. Tracktion continues to live, still on life support, though. :hihi:
