I downloaded the demo.
moved the dll to vstplugins
(tried both the vstplugins under program files
and under program files x86)
moved the data to users/my username/my documents/
the plugin appears on cubase but it crashes when I try to load it.
Does it support windows7 64 bit?

weird... it seems to work now. it said something about vst bridge problem before.
But I have a different question now
When I play the bagpipe there is always a standing C note
is it supposed to be like this?
This happens in many other sounds - all the sitars for example...

You mean the drones?
If yes, then that's because probably those instruments have constant drones. Its one of the things that Knaglis was designed to replicate.
You might want to check the manual; it'll explain the structure of sounds, including the drone and sympathetic resonance layers.
edit : ah you posted while i was writing this

thanks for asking trikolad, and many thanks WR for helping out.
ps, my faouvite way to control the drones in Knagalis is to assign a MIDI CC to the Drone volume knob, it can be a pedal or the modwheel
