I'm just looking at the "simple" knob views in the v5.xx FX:
-- what determines how many knobs (and which knobs ) appear for each of the configs listed on the left-hand side?
-- can I change them?
-- for a multiband config (e.g. Stereo Expansion (3 bands) in MMultiBandfreqShifter), how would I select each band?

1) A knob is created for every multiparameter with name. Please check this tutorial:

Vojtech, thank you for the pointer to the video. That explains it all clearly.
My third question is now not relevant. I meant to say "from the "Easy" knob view. I had thought that the "Easy" knobs could be assigned to controls for the bands and would control different parameters when the different bands were selected. Oops.
