Hello , this idead grow in me since a little guy a song to ask advice and critic,i see that 250 person look at his song/clip and no one tells something about it,it would be good for 'acoustic musician' (i means no dance/techno/trance... music) to have a place where they could share their songs and clips...

im not sure 'acoustic' is the word you should be using. or even 'non electronic'hivkorn wrote: 'acoustic musician' (i means no dance/techno/trance... music)
not acoustic, not dance :
Electric guitars and amps pretty much count as 'electronic'.
and, assuming you actually just mean 'stuff that isnt dance music', why do you think a lack of comments would be solved by ghettoising one genre (and its subgenres) of music?
are you saying people only comment on dance music tracks? or that they'll suddenly start if there's a second forum.
what about stuff that isnt so binary? you know elements of dance music have been crossing with non-dance genres for decades?

Dance music was an exemple,I mean you can look at the music cafe and look if 'acoustix music ' i don t know how i can call it (music with lyrics..) And count the numbers of these song wich have advice,reviews...not really much.i am here @ kvr because it offer a largee amount of informations about vst ,i tend to not talk a lot recentlyt because i feel just like if my place is no more here.i recently 'discover' that it s'always the same persons who post and made fuzz/fun.if i ask a new section it s because it would be nice to talk with someome wich made the same music and i think imo it will give a new dimension to this forum.

I've noticed that those who post songs (no matter the genre) and do not listen and comment to any other tunes in the cafe, usually don't receive a lot of feedback themselves. It's almost a given, that if you do listen to the others, out of courtesy they will return the favor.
I'm much more interested in listening to something that isn't dance oriented, so I'm sorry I missed your friends tune.
The majority of music I've posted in the cafe over the years has been acoustic/rock band kind of stuff.

that may be true, but then again, this forum is mainly dedicated to synth kind of music. It would just stand to reason that electronica in all it's forms would be the majority of music shared. Not saying that's right or wrong, but just the nature of things.hivkorn wrote:Yeah maybe i m wrong , i use to listen a lot of music wich are post on the music cafe ,95 % of the time it s amb, electronic , sample music...

The reverse is true over at Cakewalk's Song Forum - it's filled with rock, country, folk and religious tunes, so those who write with a more electronic/dance/experimental/ebm bent don't get many responses, if any at all.
