Auto arrange in modular session view on by default?

Is there a way to save the layout in the modular session window?
The auto arrange seems to be on by default.
I try to layout every audio in/out and MIDI in/out in a way that is viewable in my setup.
Every module is where i want them and then i save it as a template.
When i open the template every module is "huller om buller"...
Audio in is the order 1 3 2 6 4 5 7 8
Audio in is in a similar order.
Also every module placed in another place than i put it.
It is not possible to get any work done when i have to chase modules around the screen .
Before i could use all three screens to lay everything out but now i only can use one for some reason.
Is this a bug or a setting that i missed somewhere?
