WOW Filter MIDI Learn

Hi,

Basically, i'm stuck getting the WOW Filter to learn a MIDI CC from Cableguys MIDI Shaper.

I've setup the MIDI Shaper correctly (I hope) the chain is

MIDI IN -> MIDI Shaper -> Synth , now WOW is sitting as an insert on the synth, so how can I get it to MIDI learn on say CC 10 from Shaper ?

I set shaper to send MIDI data on CC 10 and click wow filters learn, and move a parameter, but nothing learns.

Help, I know i'm doing something wrong, but I cannot work out what

mac/pc? what host are you using? I assume the insert effect will receive no midi..
depending on the host...

So sorry for the big delay in replying, I had to rush off unexpectedly for 5 days.

Anyway, I am using PC, and Cubase 6.5.1

I am trying to get WOW filter to learn from MIDI Shaper, I know it is possible to teach CC controls, but I am struggling for some reason.

Any help is appreciated.

I think i've worked it out tbh, I need to use another MIDI track to route it too WOW filters MIDI in.

Then just tell it to learn on the CC I send out.
