I'm wondering how good of a 'sitar' patch someone can make in Diva. I really have no clue how to do this myself, and just wondering what is possible. Tamburas are ok too

I'm not sure about that, but it does make me reconsider that the 'rules' should require you to make a drone patch and a melody patch, since you would want to bend the 'strings' while leaving the drone alone.ford442 wrote:that is tough.. i have handled sitars in the past - they have something like 12 harmonic strings.. i would want to use multiple instances to get full tonality right? or can you do that with the current voice stacking?

And I'm not looking for exact reproduction of a sitar, a 'funky space sitar' or 'Bengali dreams' or whatever would be really cool. It is just harmonically a difficult instrument and I'm interested to see what all you talented people can come up with
