error in install

hi,i just installed synthmaster 2.5 64 bit. order no.order no. U2805498501

im using cubase 6 latest update 64 bit.after using it for ,say,20 mins,i moved a parameter on bottom left,and te parameter dissapeared after moving.then cubase crashed.

on restarting cubase i got a couple of error messages regarding synthmaster.

synthmaster could not find scaledefinitions folder c\programfiles\steinberg\vstplugins\scalesfolder

and also

synthmmaster could not find the following configurationfile c\program files\steinberg\vstplugins\resources\parameterMetadata.xml




when i clicked "ok" cubase loaded and synthmaster worked ok.But there must be something wrong.




also when i unpack the zip that included the installer,there is 2 .dll files,and a license file.do i copy these into the vst folder,as well as going thru the installation exe.?

Just run the installer, and when running your DAW (Cubase) run as "administrator"

Where are the SynthMaster2.dll and SynthMaster2FX.dll files located at?
Do you see other data files there under the same folder, such as:

Resources
Config
Logs

SynthMasterFolders.txt ?

What's the contents of SynthMasterFolders.txt?

dlls are at Programfiles\steinberg\vstplugins\kv331audio
yes all those are there.
i am able to load the instrument ok,its when i originally loaded it i got the error message.i just clicked ok,and it worked.
but i rescanned plugins lately and the error message came up again.
im wondering if something is wrong.

try to reinstall the initial installer. that will reset the config settings, that might help.
