I will email the following post to the author of Maize Sampler for implementations I feel are needed.

1 - Blank GUI.....No ADSR,no writing,no background,just a blank GUI with maybe
a keyboard would be a nice option to start making a personal
GUI.Would also need image resize ability,not just window
resize.

2 - Image Button..Resize option for 'image' itself and not just the image
window.Makes life a LOT easier.

3 - Sliders.......To go alongside the option to use buttons and knobs.

4 - Midilearn.....Would be nice.

1: You can just remove all the component in the GUI editor
2: I don't understand what do you mean by saying resize the image?
3: In the latest version, you can use the custom knob to make a slider by giving it a film strip and choose "dynamic size" option
