Hanging / ghost notes problem

SCENARIO : 2 separate midi items of a 2 bars each. The second midi item is on looped playback.

PROBLEM : Sounds from the end of the (not over lapping) first midi item are being played on the first note of the second midi item despite not actually being there.

WHAT I'VE ALREADY TRIED : I've run into this issue before and had trim notes back from the end of the midi item slightly ... a major PITA already. But even that is not working this time.

I am in Reaper and the reason I am posting this here is because I cannot reproduce this in alchemy but both Zebra and Diva exhibit this issue. Any clues please, a setting perhaps (hoping not an issue with reaper)

I get the hanging notes too. I just got got Zebra 2.5.2 and I'm in Logic 9. Only happens sometimes.

I've only had Zebra a couple of days, so still learning .javascript:emoticon(':P')

IIRC my problem was not with zebra in the end, it was to do with how I split a midi item in reaper I think, God knows why it didn't happen in alchemy.

Can you describe more specifically what conditions lead up to hanging notes.. is it stopping playback on long notes, does it happen during playback rather than on stopping ? Ofc the others here will be more help than me, I get more help than I give here, if you know what I mean.

Just to add, you should love Zebra, if you really try to get to grips with all aspects of it, it will improve your patch making/synthesis skills... it has mine.

I've had the same problem, also Logic 9.
