This would be good idea to organise either on mutools website or perhaps here as a sticky topic with everyone's efforts

yes, a webpage where users could up/download and share patches, sample maps etc would be great. jo's prolly busy enough, so has anyone though about co-ordinating this?AstralExistence wrote:you know like user patches, effects, skins and stuff? looks really fun and inspiring to use so i bought xt.

I'm very interested in this too.
But to be honnest i've limited experience with public web space management.
As i thought there would come a need for shared MU webspace, i already registered mutools.net some time ago. At this point it's still unused but i'm certainly open to use it for the purpose of sharing all kind of MU objects.
Question is: How can we use this practically?
Some considerations:
* Downloads should be public, no limitations here.
* Uploads should be verified, i guess, so that only MU files can be uploaded, and no viruses, off topic files or any other bullshit.
* The upload/download interface should be easy and user friendly.
* Should that interface best be web-based or application-based? (or both?)
And how to implement this?
If there are Musers here who have experience with this, please elaborate here.
Looking forward to work this out.
