saving patches question

was just wondering, i saved a patch then deleted it and when i removed it from the recycle bin it wouldn't load anymore got an error. so what do i need to know about saving patches and moving patches?

if you move/delete a patch outside Mulab (Explorer etc.) you have to delete the MuxPatchFileCache.MuData file in the source and destination folders.
inside Mulab using Save As to another folder and/or delete it via the patch options menu, M4 updates the cache files.
if you rename a session outside Mulab, you have to delete or update the PreferredFilesAndFolders.Txt in the user/settings folder.

That's not really a necessity.if you rename a session outside Mulab, you have to delete or update the PreferredFilesAndFolders.Txt in the user/settings folder.
I would rather recommend to simply open the moved session via "Open...", then it will automatically be added again to the 'most recent sessions' list.
