Hi,

Just installed the FreqAnalyst and it looks really good and will surely help me in analysing some recordings for my production assessment. However, as soon as I insert the plugin on a audio track pro tools comes up with:

Lost communication with the audio interface. Try increasing "H/W buffer size" or removing some plugins, and make sure you have a valid clock source. Please press ok to reset the device. (- 6097)

I have increased the buffer size to 1024 samples and it still keeps happening. I don't have any other plug-ins running. What could be causing this? I have had large mixes with heaps of plugins running and never had this problem.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Thank you for the feedback. We have indeed noticed that on some Pro Tools systems, the plug-in may prevent the audio engine to work properly when using all the cores or processors of the machine.

Currently you can reduce the number of cores used by the RTAS engine in the Audio Engine options to fix the issue.

But we have already found a proper solution, and we are working on delivering a new beta shortly (in the next couple of days). We'll get back to you as soon as the new version is available (hopefully in a few days)

Hi,

a new version (not official yet) is available for download. It should fix the issue and let you use Pro Tools 10 with its standad settings. Even better, performance has been improved and you should be able to use more instances of the plug-ins in your sessions. :)

AAX Freeware Pack Download for Mac (2.01)
RTAS Freeware Pack Download for Mac (2.01)

Can you please tell us if it fixes the issue on your system?

The problem was very dependent on the hardware configuration, so we'd like to make sure it's fixed on all systems for which the problem was reported before we officially release the fix.

Thanks!
