ACE and Diva AU Kore templates

For some reason the templates I made on PC for ACE and Diva VSTi are not showing in Kore 2 on my Mac, even if I resave them. However the AU versions seem to save templates fine so I have redone my Kore template for the AU version of ACE and will do the same soon for my Diva template too. Here is the ACE template first:

I doubt this is the case but you weren't using Kore in 64bit mode? (As you know the VSTs are only 32bit).
Thanks for these by the way, just downloaded!

Hi there AMUSEd,
Thanks for these templates again... I've got them installed and working fine inside Kore.
I had a question about how you handle changing presets within Diva/Ace inside Kore... the AU versions of u-he plugins do not update the parameter positions within Kore when you change patches (the VSTs do but as there are not going to be any standard u-he 64 bit VSTs it seems the AUs are preferable).
So if I change the initial patch from the template and then tweak say the cutoff knob the parameter jumps from the last position used rather than the position it is set at in the new patch, which is a minor problem.
I know you do a lot of Kore templates and wondered if there was any workaround that you had come across for this?
I would imagine one way would be to just work from the template, create every sound from scratch (ignore the presets) and then store each new patch as a new KoreSound?
I try to use VSTs inside Kore but u-he plugs are a special case!
Cheers,
Alan

I think there are a couple of issues with the AU in Kore, the params should update just as the VST version does and also you might find if you try and save a few variations sometimes the patch resets with the AU - I don't have these problems with the VST so I'm using that more. I guess if there is a solution it will have to be from Urs and Clemens.

Thanks for the reply.
I wasn't sure if this was a limitation of the AU format (as the same parameter not updating issue occurs on all u-he plug-ins). Maybe that's something Urs and Clements could look into if that's not the case.
Hopefully, it's not an issue with Kore directly (otherwise there is no solution).
Think you mentioned this previously but your old VST Ace template will not show up in Kore at all now.
Have a good one!

is that so? So far I've been using the VST versions for most things so hadn't noticed that.taoyoyo wrote:Thanks for the reply.
