One of thes tricks it to set a sort of "gate" pattern with LFO1 set to user wave, and then setting a modulation matrix with LFO1 having a positive depth on MFM2:Wet, and negative depth on MFM2:dry.
So the "gate pattern" in LFO1 userwave will then cut out the dry signal, an replace the gap with the enjoyable madness comming from MFM2.
HOWEVER, everytime the gate pattern switches there is an audible click ruining the effect.
Any tips on how to get rid of the audible click? I guess the user pattern has zero attack/release time causing the click.
Should I give up on MFM2 for this effect? Fabfilter Timeless 2 doesn't give me an click, but then it isn't as advanced in the processing.
I tried using the MSEGs as sort of a replacement since I could draw a softer gate pattern with not as drastig on/off edges. But this does also produce audible clicks, and MSEGs isn't really the right tool for the job, but if it it works =)
