Freakin out!!!

This tutorial is even better than your previous one trancit!!

A pleasure to watch and hear, very well voice driven and excellent production!! keep 'em comming man!

Post

Thx very much...
just starting...let's see, what's possible :hihi:

Great tutorial Trancit didnt know it was possible to change a drum loop so much! Though i was a little disappointed as you said youd show us how to do it, but there was just a description of the controls. Dont get me wrong it still helpful especially for me as im quite a novice at music production.

Could you make some tutorials that explain how to achieve certain results or is this already planned?

Thanks again great work ;-)

That's coming in Part 2, which covers the play controls (right side of the oscillator) and how to use them all together

Post

Ok sorry should've realised as it did say part 1!

Just wondered, would it be possible to have a sticky post with all these tutorials linked in one place for easy location?

Post

At least you'll find them all here:

In the beginning you show an audio file (a beat) and then a MIDI file (with some chords). How can you create a MIDI file from an audio file in MU.LAB?

Thanks for the link Trancit

Sorry that it was not precise enough:

The topic is to turn that drumloop (using the drumloop as a soundsource) into a synthesized sound by using the oscillator of the MUX...
The midi file (sequence), which plays the sound has nothing in comon with the drumloop...

Sorry, I've seen the video but I haven't understood all things and the display was to small -- how can I use the drumloop as a soundsource for the MUX oscillator, which "module" do I need?

Can I use every WAV sample as soundsource for the MUX oscillator? That would be great, I've never known that this is possible within MU.LAB. BTW, MUX is a great modular synth, if there was a VSTi version for REAPER, I would be happy for lifetime... :)

Perhaps you should wait till the second part is ready...I think many things will get clearer then...

Yes, you can load or drag n drop any wav file into the oscillator, but be aware, that more complex wave forms will sound perhaps different than you would expect...

Part 2 of the Oscillator video shows in detail, what I did to make this sound... but that shouldn't stop from experimenting yourself...

Thanks, I'll wait...

Great!!! I've never known that this is possible... I have 42,000 different waveforms (seriously), so it will take some time to explore all combinations... Maybe in the next life I'll succeed in finding the best synth sound ever...
