Hi
I'm just installing Zebra on my new Win7 64 bit laptop - but the installer is not asking for 32 & 64 bit folders (I normally install to "VST 32bit" & "VST 64bit" folders depending on whether plugin is 32 and/or 64 bit.
Can someone advise ?
thanks
Zebra installation - 32bit & 64bit versions ?

There's not really any coherent documentation as to what goes where in VST-land, so we thought that one might as well install both in one directory, or run the installer twice.
If you install both into one directory then you can just drag the Zebra2(x64).dll etc. into another directory, and create a Shortcut/Symbolic link to Zebra2.data as explaned in the "install+update" manual.
(we will however switch to either seperate installers some time soon... it's too uncommon what we do)

I like that too. I'm still afraid though that dragging the new resource folder over the old one may cause loss of data too easily. The main reason we have an installer is all about preventing data loss during updates.bmrzycki wrote:Count me in the minority that prefers the receptorized .dll + data folder archive.
