If I use a 4/4 Bar and chance to another bar and after that I chance back to the 4/4 Bar, and use the Rhytmizer again, it is absolutly out of time!
Thats one reason out of hundreds why a Restart by MIDI is the perfect solution for that! (for all your Plugins!)

Post

Well, that's possible, not sure, will check. What host and OS are you using?

Anyway MIDI reset isn't a solution (technical stuff...)

But other Plugins have a MIDI Restart function. The mentioned problem is not the only one... You cant work without host grid. I love it with NI The Finger. There is not just a MIDI Restart, there is also a MIDI Gate function. That means, the effect is only if a MIDI note is played. AND there is also an envelope for this gate! EXTREMELY useful!

I use Studio One 2.

Well, actually I checked and it is all there! ;)

All you need is to set the "tempo" to the same value as the tempo in your host and MRhythmizer will be out of sync, then anything will start as soon you enable the sequence. Or you can set the tempo to maximum ("tempo sync") and it will follow the hosts tempo, but you will be able to start anything anytime.

And about the "gate" - it's a little engineering thing, but you can implement it pretty easily:
1) In MIDI settings, enable a note controller and map it to multiparameter 1 and set it to "swich mode".
2) Learn multiparameter 1 (which is now triggered by that MIDI note) to control dry/wet.
3) Set the multiparameter to "switch mode" and set a desired switch time.

You can then do quite some miracles with it, but that's a little more complicated...

Maybe some finished midi presets in the future? ;) i'm going to try it out tomorrow, but I remember from my mxxx testing peroid, that midi gating has some problems with your plugins... but more tomorrow!

Presets - I guess ;).

Problems? Tell me!

If I use "Switch" Mode, it is turned on if key is triggered and triggering this key again it is off. But with "gate" I mean, that the "On" state is only activated, if the MIDI key is sending a signal. If I use the other mode, the "Trigger" Mode for the Multiparamater, it is triggered how long the Switch time is adjusted after I release the key. And I can only set a MIDI channel but no individual notes in the plugins.

I hope that the MXXX has the possibility to let you trigger parameters 1.with MIDI gates and 2.with individual notes. And please the other effects too!

Ahhh, sorry, the naming sucks there - you have to use On/off in the MIDI settings. But then it works as expected (I used the newest version though).

Sorry, but where is a possibility to set the tempo and tempo sync?

It's one of the 3 main parameters! :o

Aaaaaah, I was wrong the whole time - it's already there... I mean the "gating" or whatever you call it.

Just click the "Note off" button and set mode to Immediate... ;) Then you can trigger all time, volume and filter sequences.
Damn I cannot keep track of my own features.. :D
