I just purchased a Receptor Rev c and it only has the factory installed plugins. I want to install Komplete 7 as I can buy this fairly inexpensively compared with Komplete 8. I cant seem to find any instructions on how to do this on the muse or plugorama sites. Muse seems to support Komplete 5 and Komplete 8 installs. Am I missing something? Please help.
Thanks

I'm hoping you've contacted support about this already, but if not, you may benefit from my posts here: http://johnchopkins.blogspot.com/
However, with a Rev 1C, which I believe tops out at OS version 1.7, you may be hosed trying to install Komplete 7. Verify with Muse support.

You won't be able to install Komplete 7 on a Rec C Receptor. The best you'll do on that platform is Komplete 5 (Kontakt 3)

Tech is correct. Unfortunately Komplete 7 will not work on your unit. The reason we do not have Komplete 6 and 7 listed as supported is because we never released a full install method for the 2. We did have a "beta" installer. Technically it was not beta. We sent it to all customers who wanted to install. There were a few systems that did not do well with the beta installer, so it was never released.
If you were interested in getting a Receptor 2 + Pro or Pro Max you can check out the prices and procedures here:
