Does U-he ever offer sales promotions?

I have only very recently discovered U-he plugins. I am very attracted the Zebra and Diva products, specifically. I was just curious if U-he ever offers sales promotions of any kind or gives a discount on multiple-product-purchases? I'm sure they are both worth the current purchase price, but maybe I could just play around with the demos and learn the interfaces until a certain time of year (Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa?) or something? Just curious. Thanks

There are only two discounts I know of that u-he does:
* early-adopter pricing -- you're essentially being a public beta tester and are compensated for your troubles. This is what the team did with last December's release of Diva. UHBIK is also at an introductory price (I've heard rumors it will be going up to $199 soon)
* cross-grade pricing -- only available with Zebra at the moment. You can read more about it here: http://www.u-he.com/cms/zebra2-dinosaur-crossgrade
Other than that there are no "bundle" or holiday sales that I've seen since I became a customer in 2006.

U-he only does introductory discounts on new products. No other sales promotion after that, which aren't needed because their plugins offer high quality for very reasonable prices.
And the Dinosaur crossgrade indeed: here.

Not sure if that's directed at me or just in general, but FYI if you do a search for the word "promotion" in the U-he subforum you will see no results with that word in the title.bluedad wrote:do people search the forum before they ask questions?Kriminal wrote:do people read posts before they post?

Trying "discount" gave me 14 pages and 4 different threads regarding it though.Clemson wrote: but FYI if you do a search for the word "promotion" in the U-he subforum you will see no results with that word in the title.
Either way, U-he does not have changing prices, except for those things listed in the second post. It's viewed as not fair to those who paid full price.
There's also occasional patch contests, where you can win any U-he (nfr) product for free.

Sometimes different people write their post at the same time so Acid Mitch might not have seen bmrzycki's info on the dinosaur crossgrade when he asked his question.Kriminal wrote:do people read posts before they post?
