Trouble with Sylenth presets!

The problem: I recently bought a dell XPS and am running Fl studio 10 on windows 7. When I load up sylenth, rather than loading up an init preset, it loads "Arp 303 Saw" because that is the first preset in bank 1. When I want to switch presets, I just go to the drop down menu and select another bank 1 preset. However when I try to load another preset bank by going to "settings" and opening say, "bank 2", the bank 2 presets don't show up in the drop down menu, the bank 1 presets remain. This limits me to only using bank 1 presets, while the ones I really want to use are in the other three banks. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Additional info:
I've been using sylenth for almost two years now, running Fl Studio 9 on a virtual machine on my mac OSX with fl studio. Everything worked perfectly and I could quickly load all 4 preset banks without a problem (they would show the correct presets in the drop down menu). Additionally, when I would add a sylenth to my channel, it would pop up as the "init" preset (this was convenient as I make many of my sounds from scratch).

I tried both the 32 and 64 bit versions of sylenth, both had the same problem.
