Hello,
I am using Ableton Live (latest version) on snow leopard. I have previous live sets containing Zebra and DIVA AU plugins. When I click on the small spanner icon, the GUI panel doesn't show. It has only happened with Zebra and DIVA so I'm guessing it is a U-HE only issue? Is there anything I can do? I have already switched to VST for most of the tracks but a few are loaded with presets that will take a long time to find again!
Thanks

It's a Cocoa name collision issue - don't mix our VSTs and AUs.
We're working on a workaround though...

They work in Live if you don't at the same time use our VSTs. Use just AU and you'll be fine...benj3737 wrote:it seems like a catch 22. your AU plugins don't work with live (no gui), and your vst plugins don't work with the new 64 bit version of live. Gahhhh

Just another post trying to put the fire under you about this super annoying bug. It takes hours out of my life dealing with this monster of a bug. I open an old set to do some editing, CAN'T SEE MY PLUGIN(!!!!!), have to delete every other track, save the set as a different file, restart live, open the track, go to the plug, now I can see the window, save as a preset, reopen the original set, replace Zebra, ACE, DIVA etc with AU, open the preset. Repeat for EVERY INSTANCE OF A VST!
So annoying

It's a flaw in ObjectiveC, Apple's preferred programming language.benj3737 wrote:Just another post trying to put the fire under you about this super annoying bug. We'll try to deal with it.
