Is there a problem with the online docs? Whatever I enter as search criteria, nothing will be found.

Seems to be a directory issue. When you enter this link in the Google search field:
"xyz site:http://www.mutools.com/info/docs" and replace xyz by your search term,
you do get some results :)

Same at here, but fixed by deleting the browser cache.

He means in MuLab itself, in the Info sub-menu. That will be fixed in the next version M4.3.12, which also fixes the Sampler/MultiSampler save bug. New version coming soon. I'm first waiting for an answer of ToonTrack about a drag-drop problem between EZ Drummer and MuLab.

I see. But something is still strange. Try to search for "preset" or "modular". I do not get any hits. :(

I noticed the same. I don't understand.

Maybe it's because the doc files have been reorganized into a new folder structure. Now maybe google has to re-index things and this takes a couple of days..?

Hi Jo,

two weeks have elapsed, and the effect is still present. For example try searching for "preset". It will find only the introduction page. Usually google is fairly quick in scanning web sites.

I think the problem seems to be the actual "site"-Operator. It is still searching in "http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mulab" and will not find any content of "Mux", which is part of MuLab, or in the "Common" pages.

Yes indeed. What did I do:
- I went to "http://www.mutools.com"
- clicked on "Support"
- clicked on "MuLab Docs"
- entered "preset" in text field
- clicked on "Google the MuLab Docs"

=> voila: 1 result :(
I tried this in firefox and IE. Same result. In the resulting google page there is "preset site:http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mulab" in the text field.
If I shorten this to "preset site:http://www.mutools.com/info/docs" then I get 5 results, as expected.

Maybe you can shorten the "value" of the "sitesearch" tag in your little google form? I would like to search in mux (and common) contents too, as long as it's part of MuLab. Or do you plan to break off Mux out of MuLab? ;-)

@mutools: Would love to have the docs as a PDF. Is that feasible without too much effort on your side?

Sorry, I'm not mutools, but I had the same wish and do periodically create a PDF, semi automatically via a ms-word file which includes all neccessary doc pages from the web site. It's not perfect, but a nice way to offline look-up for contents. I'd provide the word file if anyone's interested, as long as the docs are not available in PDF.
